It was an abandoned factory built in 1946 communist Mao’s China. You could feel the history from the propaganda on the walls and the smell from the old-fashioned diesel machines. Guiyang government is aiming to develop the old factory site into a new exciting animation comic centre and add colors onto the identity of Xiaohe district. The enthusiastic international animators and professionals are looking forward to seeing Xiaohe Diesel Factory to be evolved into a “Guiyang Animation 798 Factory” in the soon future.
